Body of the Goddess: An Introductory Class

This class is a unique opportunity for women to personally and actively engage with the ideal of the female body in our culture.  Through movement, discussion, journaling and the Alexander Technique we will deconstruct the deep seated beliefs we hold about our bodies and use our findings as creative fodder for original work.

Introduction to The Alexander Technique for the Performer

The Alexander Technique is a practical method of physical reeducation that reduces tension and simultaneously activates the postural support systems of the body.  The Alexander Technique  unlocks the tensions that interfere with receptivity, sensitivity and availability.  Alexander lessons typically result in greater vocal power, emotional availability, and physical presence.
